Coca-Cola/Walmart
Context
Walmart was finally facing the elephant in the room. Realizing that sustainability was the future of their employees, their shoppers and the planet, as well as a boon to their brand’s cost-savings positioning, they had made sustainability one of the top criteria of their preferred vendor scorecard, on which Coca-Cola wanted to score high marks.
Our Role
Green Team knew that this was business, plain and simple: if Coca-Cola uses their existing real estate to communicate a sustainability message that helps advance Walmart’s mission, they secure their position as a Walmart preferred vendor and get preferential shelf space. Our creative campaign – Refresh Recycle Recharge – used in-store touch points to communicate Coca-Cola’s sustainability focus to shoppers and retailers, which strengthened Cola-Cola’s partnership with Walmart.
